This is some galactic levels of lunacy.

First, does this whacko understand precisely and accurately what RNA (Ribonucleic acid) is and does, let alone RNA nanotechnology?

Second, does she know that 5G is a cellular technology (wireless communication—NOT cells within your body) designed to increase speed and connectivity in rural areas?

Third, I tried to find the connection between 5G and “pentagram’ but only came up with this cool Mundaze Case for Samsung Galaxy A25 5G cover black skull for sale on eBay. Seems like a good deal at $14.44.

Fourth—CERN 666?

Claim about the European Council for Nuclear Research planning to open the gates of hell with the Large Hadron Collider is false. In reality, CERN seeks to study the standard model theory and scientific basis of the creation of the universe. Shiva statue in the courtyard of the CERN is a gift from the Indian government, not a CERN symbol, whereas the logo represents particle accelerators instead of three-six. (source)

New euphemism for pooping—toasting a brownie. New to me anyway.

Just came across it in a witty horror/scifi book I'm now reading. It's got giant man eating preying mantises, sexual orientation uncertainty, and other weird shit (yes, it’s a YA novel. SO?!). In any case, the author’s style reminds me a bit of Kurt Vonnegut and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Grasshopper Jungle by Andrew Smith.

A woman on Threads went on and on about her annoyance with other Threaders who’ve said they’re leaving the platform. Why are they leaving? Well, Zuck sucks. He’s donated a million buckos to Captain Crazypants’ inauguration party fund. This after having suppressed anti-rightwing posts in the run-up to the recent disastrous election.

I’m considering getting gone from the site too. Generally though, I prefer Threads to Bluesky. My problem? Meta runs Facebook and Instagram as well as Threads. How do I disentangle myself from all three without losing contact with friends, acquaintances, and fam? Sure, some are occasionally on Bluesky but not so many.

The ranting Threader went on to accuse the leavers of thinking that they’re “saving the country” by their defection. Oh...rilly? NO ONE fucking thinks that! She then calls them hypocrites because “you will still buy from Amazon. You will still buy from Walmart, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Target, etc… Boycotting billionaires is not the solution. Voting for people who will change the tax laws is.”

First, does this screamer personally know the shopping habits of the majority of her targets? Nope.

Second, if enough of us boycott billionaires, those fuckers might very well feel it. No, a boycott won’t bankrupt the Musks, Zucks, and Bezos of this world but it’ll, at least, annoy them. Musk definitely noticed the mass exodus from Twitter and it hurt his poor widdle narcissistic fee-fees. Bezos felt the mass cancellations of Washington Post subscriptions. It may be harder, for me anyway, to completely ditch Zuck but I can try. 

Third, we tried voting in the intelligent, caring, SANE, fair minded, capable, and qualified candidate. It didn’t take. We’re now on to plans B, C, D, etc.
