In the News

Remember that Syrian dictator who was overthrown last month and fled to Moscow? Yeah, that was Bashar al Assad. Unsurprisingly, Putin's boy got himself poisoned. He survived but, if I was him, I’d start looking for asylum elsewhere. Is Putin now bored with throwing those no longer necessary out windows? He’s now into poisoning his failed foreign lackeys?

Incoming co-presidents and billionaire oligarchs, Musk and Trump, should probably be a wee bit concerned. Even the MAGAts are starting to notice that their heroes aren’t actually too keen on them.

Update on the Las Vegas event:

It’s now known that the driver of the Wanktank that blew up in front of Trump’s Bedbug Motel in Vegas was Matthew Livelsberger. He was a 37-year-old Green Beret who had been awarded a total of five Bronze Stars. He was a Trump fan and just had a quarrel with his wife.

Matt shot himself in the head before the load of fireworks exploded.

Naturally, Leon’s biggest concern was that everyone should know that the explosion was not his precious and dangerous truck’s fault.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Wednesday afternoon on X that “we have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself.” (source)
The authorities said the trucked contained fireworks and camping fuel canisters. There was no mention of a bomb. Why is Space Karen so determined to make this into a terrorist conspiracy?

Why’d Matt choose to off himself in a fireworks laden Wanktank in front of his god’s tacky motel? Was he making a deliberate statement with the Trump motel/Wankmobile setup?  Did he intend to do more damage but hadn’t properly worked out the logistics? Did he commit suicide because of the argument with his spouse OR was he out of his mind from sleeplessness due to the baby not sleeping through the night yet?

As yet, unknown.

Can Luigi Mangione get a fair trial? The healthcare insurance profiteers aren’t in the biz to help people. For them it’s all about collecting huge piles of wealth.

…at Mangione's state court arraignment earlier this week, his defense lawyer, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, told a judge that her client is innocent until proven guilty but that, in the meantime, he's being treated like, quote, "political fodder."

She was really concerned about what she called…"highly choreographed perp walk" when Mangione arrived by helicopter in New York City. There were all these police officers and reporters. New York City Mayor Eric Adams even showed up. He said later that he wanted to look Mangione in the eye and let him know violence won't be tolerated in New York City. But Mangione's attorney said in court that the mayor was trying to make a spectacle of her client to detract from his own legal issues. Adams is facing federal bribery charges. (source)

A fair trial seems unlikely.
