I'm off, shortly, for northern New Hampshire and Vermont. What's there you ask? Why, Helen and the grands! Madison allowed that she'd like to learn how to make origami. This was her birthday request and, boyhowdy, we're gonna honor that!
In addition, we're making a stop at the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium in St. Johnsbury. I've been there once before but it was way back in the last century! I found it and the entire wee village just charming as all hell. I'm psyched to sojourn here again.
This part of Vermont is called The Northeast Kingdom.
S'cuse me, I gotta go pack me bag.

"This is such beautiful country up here — it should be called the Northeast Kingdom"That's where the sobriquet began and it's surely a molto appropriate one.
~Vermont State Senator George Aiken on a visit to the region in 1949
