The Glitter Coffin Company makes 'em in a variety of brill colors – purple, pink, ice blue, rose, GOLD (for the Trumpsters in your family) and, for the more sedate deceased glitterati, opal, silver and black. Now then, when I twinkle (and I WILL twinkle!) out of existence, I don't want to be buried or kept in a box. Nope. Burial at sea OR planted within the roots of a young oak or spruce – we'll grow up together. That's for me. BUT...

Of course, the Bible has a lot to say about what the content of the laws should be. So when do we start stoning people to death for picking up pieces of wood on the Sabbath? The Bible also says we can buy people from neighboring countries as slaves, which might be a clue as to what all these migrants are being detained for. Just a matter of waiting until the laws get Biblical enough.
Brain research is doing some remarkable things these days. They've created mice with human brain cells, for example -- and that was three and a half years ago. The fundies would freak out if they knew about half of what's going on.

Very likely. They've already had some success with stem cells regrowing damaged spinal nerves that cause paralysis (I can't remember whether it's been tested in humans yet or not).

DeleteThe research into growing teeth I have been following for about six years is centered on the UK, primarily Britain but also Vancouver BC (Canada). To date they've "grown" teeth in mice but 1) they're mice and 2) enamel seems to be a separate process, for lack of a better term.
DeleteI've no doubt that it'll be another country that'll produce the next science breakthroughs. We're toast here. Having said that, I'm at the best place (possibly in the world) for Neurofibromatosis Type 2 – Mass General Hospital. Plotkin, my neurologist is one of the prime movers/researchers on it. I'm lucky to live here.

Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you." (Mt 6:5,6) I even have it printed on business cards to hand to street corner postulators.
