Two Views

Ten arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon. His flight landed early even! We're off to find breakfast and then to the library. I leave you with two of my favorite interior views (pretty much all I could see these last four weeks of recovery time).

Also this post, just seen on the Daily Kos Thirty Mile High WaveEncircling Earth to Break Over North Pole on Christmas Day.

Christ almighty, we're in big time Disaster Movie territory now, eh? I don't understand all the science stuff but, I'll tell you wut, this doesn't seem normal (duh!). Can someone with a stronger grasp on weather science break this down for me?

Humanity is sitting on a time bomb. If the vast majority of the world’s scientists are right, we have just ten years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet’s climate system into a tail-spin of epic destruction involving extreme weather, floods, droughts, epidemics and killer heat waves beyond anything we have ever experienced - a catastrophe of our own making.
