Today is the No Kings But Yaaas Queen! march. It’s Obama Appreciation Day. It’s also the army’s 250th birthday parade which the orange null set, who thinks he’s a tough guy, has co-opted.

By the by, amongst those arrested was an 80 year old vet using a rollator. The man’s wrists were ziptied behind his back as he was led off to a squad car. One of the cops pulled the his rollator along behind him. Fer fuck’s sake! Had that been me, I’d have been on the fucking ground. I need the damn wheelie walker to stay upright. What clueless, callous motherfuckers!
If at 6:30 PM, D.C. experiences a major thunderstorm with torrential, flooding rains, I MIGHT just reconsider my agnosticism/atheism, especially if death dealing bolts of lightening hit a few dozen execrable examples of humanity.
The very wise Jim Wright of Stonekettle Station has this advice for today:
No Kings
I'm not going to tell you how to protest, but I remind you the cops are just looking for an excuse to smash your face into the concrete. They've said so, especially here in Florida.
If you light shit on fire, well, then that's the clip the media will play over and over and ignore everything else.
The Goons and Agitators are just spoiling for a fight, maybe don't give them one.
One way or the other, you're going to deliver a message today. Make sure it's the one you want to send.
It's hot. It's dangerous. Be safe, stay hydrated, look out for those beside you.

What’s Dicktater Donnie’s birthday costing us, the taxpaying citizens of the now Disunited States of Shitholia? $45 million. I’ll bet the 14 million people who used to have Medicaid are thrilled to bits that the tangerine toddler got his fondest tyrannical dreams fulfilled though.
I have nothing to lose by standing up for my beliefs. So I’ll go to jail.
~ Muhammad Ali
This government was founded on protest.
~ Thurgood Marshall
There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.
~ Elie Wiesel
Get up, stand up, Stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, Don't give up the fight.
~ Bob Marley
If you see someone instigating a confrontation with the police, chances are high it's a paid agent working for the other side. How do you know for sure? When someone starts trouble, grab and throw them at the police line (Yell at the police to let them know they have incoming!), if they let them in, you know. Film the interaction.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I'd both love and hate to see that.
