Overwhelmed But There's Cake

I’m feeling more than a bit overwhelmed today. It’s the news. Our insane government continues to be insane. Half of the citizenry is brainwashed or just doesn’t give a fuck. Maybe they're ill or misinformed. Possibly they're more in love with their various bigotries than having a good life on this planet? They either vote against the people who will work to make their lives better or they don’t vote at all. Then they bitch about how fucked up the country is.

Yep, I'm sick of this shit. Today's a good day to stay inside, eat cookies and read escapist sci-fi.
