Chicken Man’s new FEMA director says he was unaware that the US has a hurricane season.

It was not clear to staff whether he meant it literally or as a joke, but current and former employees who spoke with CBS News said the comment flustered many who genuinely believe Richardson was truly surprised to learn that hurricane season had started. (source)

After the fact, like so many douchebags whose “jokes” have fallen flat, he said that his idiocy was just a joke. If it was one, NOT funny dude (and, given the general duncery of this administration, I’m more inclined to believe he was unaware of hurricane season). Also, it’s wholly implausible – TACO’s minions don’t make jokes. They ARE jokes. 

Everyone’s getting more angry and active about these violent, fucking, insane, ICE raids. GOOD! 

Seems the Philadelphia Inquirer is fed up with Fetterman’s shit. I'm glad a major news outlet is taking a public stand. I realize that the man’s got health problems. Bast knows I’m sympathetic BUT, fer fuck’s sake, I would never take the job of US senator and my health challenges are strictly physical (yes, yezzz, you could say 'that’s debatable' BUT you’d be WRONG!

In a strongly worded piece published on Sunday, the editorial board of the Philadelphia Inquirer, which endorsed Fetterman during his 2022 Senate campaign, said the first-term Democrat “has missed more votes than nearly every other senator in the past two years” and “regularly skips committee hearings, cancels meetings, avoids the daily caucus lunches with colleagues, and rarely goes on the Senate floor”.

The editorial board also wrote that six former Fetterman staffers told an Inquirer reporter that Fetterman was frequently absent or spent hours alone in his office, avoiding colleagues and meetings.

“Being an elected official comes with public scrutiny,” the board wrote. “If Fetterman can’t handle the attention or perform his job, then in the best interest of the country and the nearly 13 million residents of Pennsylvania he represents, he should step aside. (source) 

I'm sorry that he's suffering but he needs to face the fact that he's not meeting the needs of the people who elected him and who's taxes pay his salary.

Also too, sun’s out today and it’s supposed to reach 71º here in Valhalla. YIPPEE! I might actually get out for a walk. Stranger things have been known to occur.
