At left -- that's Thelma in the foreground with Rosie behind. They regularly engage in hissing fisticuffs over the the cat bed directly under the lamp's warming glow. Rosie's won.

I suspect Jen and Oni will be investing in more cat beds and lighting fixtures soon. You know, to keep the peace and all.

At right is Skitter who's all Switzerland-ish. Her kingdom is right by the kitchen window. She is above it all. All hail Princess Skitter!
