Pre-Game Show

Koi Pond beginnings
two out of a dozen or so
We leave this morning at 6:15 for The Amazing Bob’s first day of chemo. The good folk at MGH tell us that today, Baby’s First Chemo, could be an all day affair whereas subsequent occasions will  be four hours in length.

OK.

Jen, who graciously danced the chemo waltz first (ya know, to test out the waters for us—she's such a generously giving soul like that) says there’s LOTS of waiting. I gotta go pack a bag with books, iPad, sketchpad and crayons. Who knows, maybe I’ll find an MGH wall that’s crying out for Koi?

Below are some snaps from a recent trike excursion. Too bad I can't trike the halls of MGH—great way to pass the long waiting hours and burn off nervous energy,

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

“Courage is found in unlikely places.”

“Courage isn't having the strength to go on - it is going on when you don't have strength.”
