Or cake. Heading out soon to Saint Fratelli's for some, ya know, purely medicinal cuppycakes.
I was a little excited but mostly blorft. "Blorft" is an adjective I just made up that means 'Completely overwhelmed but proceeding as if everything is fine and reacting to the stress with the torpor of a possum.' I have been blorft every day for the past seven years.

My reaction to stress is much more of the "Mmmmmmft-Bzzzzzzzzz" variety. 'Completely overwhelmed and wound up like a 5'4" top, reacting to stress by doing more, more, more. I will bury that damn stress in action and completed tasks and projects! Dammit."
You must learn to let go. Release the stress. You were never in control anyway.
~ Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth and Being Free

~ Jane Wagner
