Halloween’s over

We now return to the truly scary shit – the election.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid brings the heat to that partisan hack masquerading as a unbiased FBI Director:
"In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government…The public has a right to know this information.” (source)
Yeah, so the Russian government's hacked our election with the Ultimate Loser's help BUT Mr. Sectarian Schweinehund "was against putting it out before the election.”

And yet, Comey’s raising a big, BIG flap about Clinton emails. Emails which weren’t even sent by Clinton AND are most assuredly NOT going to contain anything fun and cra-cra like “Please inform our Muslim Brotherhood comrades that Ambassador Stevens will be in Benghazi on 9/11. Allahu Akbar!"
So, to summarize, when the FBI uncovered emails that they had not read, had not yet obtained a warrant to read, and had not in any way confirmed would reveal anything at all about Hillary Clinton, Comey rushed to convey this information to Clinton’s political enemies in a letter that was light on facts and easy to misrepresent to the press. (source)
Is Comey, like Trump, in bed with the Kremlin? Is he actually a Russian operative? It'd be irresponsible not to consider this and investigate and shit. Amirite or amirite?

Steve at No More Mister Nice Blog writes in his column The Puke Funnel Now Goes Straight to the FBI:
It's been said that Vladimir Putin doesn't actually want Trump to win -- he assumes Clinton's victory is inevitable and just wants to weaken her as much as he can. I don't know if that's really what Putin is thinking, but it's more or less what the GOP is thinking.
I should’ve stayed in Iceland.
The Tower trembles; the worlds shudder in their courses. The rose feels a chill, as of winter.

The past is an old armchair in the attic, the present an ominous ticking sound, and the future is anybody's guess.
