Poppies, poppies, poppies will put them to sleep

Kinda puts Van Gogh's Almond Blossoms in mind, don't it?
The news is unrelievedly bad.

The bloated, broke-brained, rabid weasel puke in the White House is refusing to bail out the Post Office. Of course he is. Anything that benefits us non-Richie Rich type citizens is a no-go for him, ESPECIALLY if it in any way jeopardizes his radically undeserved wealth and position.
The Postal Service projects it will lose $2 billion each month through the coronavirus recession while postal workers maintain the nationwide service of delivering essential mail and parcels, such as prescriptions, food and household necessities.
~~~snip~~~
…the Trump Administration and Mnuchin pushed through private-sector bailouts in the Cares Act — $350 billion to the Small Business Administration loan program, $29 billion to passenger airlines and air cargo carriers, and economic incentives for the construction, energy and life sciences industries, among othersMnuchin has signaled any postal relief funds in a “Phase IV” stimulus package under negotiation would amount to a poison pill. So much for voting by mail, eh? Also too, these people are light years past being merely horror-show depraved and despicable.
Even if this extremely shortsighted, maniacal and vilely dimwitted assbrain kills the Post Office, it is laughably unlikely that he’ll succeed in cancelling or postponing the election.
The 20th amendment to the U.S. constitution states that the current president’s four-year term ends at noon on Jan. 20. (source)
No matter what, as of January 20, 2021, Prez Plague and Dense Pence are out of their freeloading  jobs.  Clownstick really ought to start looking into Moscow real estate now. Ya know, beat the rush, get the best condo before Mitch snaps it up.
In lieu of more angry words (I’m steaming this morning), here, meditate on some pretty spring flowers.
Yur welcome.
