Well, it’s been more than a week and I
do dearly need and deserve a day off from the Orange Menace’s suffocating shitshow. Ignoring the news for a day can only do me and my jangled nerves a solid.
The last ten days have been
action packed enough and then I read this at
Fortune Mag online:
A quarter of the members of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, whose purview includes national cybersecurity, have resigned. In a group resignation letter, they cited both specific shortfalls in the administration’s approach to cybersecurity, and broader concerns that Trump and his administration have undermined the “moral infrastructure” of the U.S.
~~~snip~~~
But the resigning advisors also said the Administration was not “adequately attentive to the pressing national security matters within the NIAC’s purview, or responsive to sound advice received from experts and advisors.” The letter also zeroed in on “insufficient attention to the growing threats to the cybersecurity of the critical systems upon which all Americans depend,” including election systems.
Yeah, I’m so not surprised. In resigning, they join the
Economic Advisory Council, the
Manufacturing Council & Strategy and the Policy Forum. Pretty soon the only folks willing to work with 45 will be Ivanka (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA) and Jared (as long as he stays
outta jail anyway).
So, before I get further carried away, looka here!
One of the BIG beauties that Oni brought home. He made the most amazing salsa from it. Jayzus, it was more of a fab salad. |
Saw this hottie at the Y and can't, for the life of me, remember what it is. Anyone know? |
While on holiday in Northern California, Jenny saw these two awesome pieces. I think I need this cup. Don't you? |
Now, 'scuse me, I gotta go catch the sunrise.
Body style is 67 - 68, color is the baseline fatigue green, it's either a Pontiac Tempest or a Chevy Chevelle.
ReplyDeleteCould be a Le Mans (Pontiac) as well. The bodies were the same, just the grills and bumpers were different (appearance wise). That green was characteristic to the less expensive on the line versions of the Malibu and GTO.
ReplyDeleteThank you. A friend thinks it might be a'69 Buick Skylark. Love these.
DeleteIf I had money, I suspect I'd open a wildly eclectic museum of old cool cars.
