BOO!

It’s Halloween – the sixth anniversary of mia madre’s exit stage left. Yesterday, Janice asked me how I was doing in the run-up to this loaded day. Mostly fine.

I still very much miss that ring of hers. I want to feel all the flower and vine bumps and twirl it on my finger like the magical charm it was.

Vati’s been an absolute mess these past few weeks. In part that’s due to him being in the process of moving from one, now, disastrously wretched adult care home to a skilled nursing crib. At present he’s in limbo (AKA rehab) until new gppd, DECENT digs become available. The rest of his mess? Missing Muti – the love of his life, the woman he often credited with saving his life.

Jen and I will fly down to visit him on Friday. It’ll be a ZOOM fast visit but maybe we can cheer him up a bit. HOPE!

Meantime, later this morning I have my follow up with the lovely and talented eye cutter, Doc Yoon. I'm assuming I'll get all good news. Warum? My eye doesn't hurt, the bodaciously beautiful swollen black eye's almost back to normal size and coloring and my vision is as clear as ever. Yea! I've one last eye procedure to endure – a simple laser swabbing out of this same, problem child left orb. That's set for late November – after my big back slice and dice. Hopefully, at that point, these highly educated, talented men and women will leave me the fuck alone. At least for a little bit.

That'd be fun, eh?

Enough whinging from me though. Here's some seasonal imagery for ya.
