As of yesterday, 338,767 US citizens have died – more than one in every 1,000 people. Yesterday alone there were 200,902 new cases and 3,626 deaths.
This includes newly elected Republican House Rep Luke Letlow. Luke, 41 and probably thinking he’d live forever, was maskless and not social distancing at his victory party earlier this month. Two weeks later, on the18th, he announced that he’d tested positive for the plague and died just 11 days later. According to reports, unlucky Luke had zero underlying, exacerbating conditions. I wonder how many people he managed to infect before he became symptomatic.
