Defenestration
noun
: the act of throwing someone or something out of a window
The term comes from the Latin word fenestra, which means “window.” It was coined around the time of an incident at Prague Castle, known as the "Defenestration of Prague.”
…the "Defenestration of Prague," May 21, 1618, when two Catholic deputies to the Bohemian national assembly and a secretary were tossed out the window of the castle of Hradschin by Protestant radicals (the pair landed in a trash heap and survived). It marked the start of the Thirty Years' War. (source)Apparently the the 17th century Bohemians really knew how to protest. The Defenestration of D.C.— has a nice ring to it, no?

ICE Barbie was out with her kids and grandkids at a mid/high end burger restaurant in D.C. Secret Service agents charged with babysitting twatzilla were also in the joint. Incredibly, someone made off with her purse even though it was on the floor at her feet. She didn’t even notice until she got up from the table. Our mar-a-lago-ed up girl is not terribly observant, is she? Please explain how this could've happened, especially with her Secret Service chaperones present.
Items inside her $4,300 Gucci bag?
- Her $600 Louis Vuitton Clemence wallet
- Driver’s license
- Medication
- Apartment keys
- Passport
- Department of Homeland Security access badge
- Makeup bag (weighing in, easily, at 10 lbs)
- Blank checks
- about $3,000 in cash
Why would anyone carry around $3,000 cash just to go out to dinner? I can see having enough to leave a cash tip but three grand?! I read that she was planning on using it to buy presents for her family but c’mon. Stores do take credit and debit cards now—is she unaware of this?
The blank checks? What’s that about? I’m an old broad, stuck in my ways. I still pay my bills by regular mail, with a check. I don’t carry my checkbook around with me though. It stays home in a drawer where I won’t lose it.
Passport? When mine was up to date, I kept it in my purse to use as ID. I understand that most Americans don't carry their passports unless they're traveling outside the US though.
It looks like she was toting around a go bag versus a mere purse. Was she planning a quick escape to a non-extradition country? Maybe the three grand was a payoff for not-so-legal services rendered; a drug delivery? The theft was, perhaps, a bungled hand off? Maybe she’s being blackmailed and this was the drop? OR is she just a dimwitted, careless dunce?
Now Gil Scott-Heron’s Let Me See Your ID is bouncing in my bean. Cool!

In other news from The Stupidest Administration EVER®, The Dim Reaper strikes again.
Dozens of Tourists Killed in Terror Attack During JD Vance Visit to IndiaRebel forces from the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir are said to be responsible. Still, I find Vance’s presence awfully suspicious. It would be wholly irresponsible if we failed to speculate. Don’cha think?
Agence France-Presse, citing Indian police, reported that at least 24 people had died in the attack, which coincided with the trip to India of U.S. Vice President JD Vance. (source)

Washed up has-been Sarah Palin lost another bid for big bucks and relevance yesterday. That she thought she’d win a libel suit against the New York Times is just more evidence of her extreme brain cell shortage.

A federal jury in New York deliberated for two hours then found the newspaper not liable for allegedly defaming Palin in a 2017 editorial about gun control. Palin appeared dejected as she left the courthouse in Manhattan.Sarah doesn’t seem to know that the Queen of Loud Idiocy crown is now being passed around by a new, younger generation of dolts. In a world of Bobos, Moscow Marges, and Mace the Perpetual Martyrs, there’s no room for vacuous, played out, old dinosaurs.
The case garnered much attention not just because Palin and the Times are household names across the US but because it raised broader issues about free speech in the era of the return of Donald Trump, who relishes repeatedly calling the mainstream media versions of the “enemy of the people”.
