The Results...

...are sorta, kinda, a little bit in. That spot? The one seen near (not on or in) The Amazing Bob's pancreas is bigger. The very good Doc Abramson is figuring that, yes, one of the two lymphomas that my TAB rocked is back.

Yeah, cancer – he's back. Fucking hell.

HOWEVAH, Doc says it’s not aggressive. That’s nice – a cancerous growth with manners.  Possibly some of the more vituperative Sanders supporters should take a lesson here, hmmm?

Depending on which brand of lymphoma this is, it MAY be treatable with a magic pill or something else that's def not the Big Bad (AKA chemo). Yea. Doc suspects this is the case. He’s not worried. He said those exact words too – not worried.

TAB's two lymphomas? Hodgkin's and Mantle Cell. We'll know which bastardly cancer this is after the biopsy.

How did the love of my life and I handle this set back? Why, the way any strong, sane, health warrior would – we hit Saint Fratellis and we hit ‘em hard. TAB got his beloved Half Moons and I got a lovely frosting covered, baby chick, shortbread cookie.

Sometimes the best course of action is to just eat the damn cookie and chill.

Now we wait for the call about the biopsy time/day. They couldn't fit him in yesterday. Waiting – HATE it!
After you find out all the things that can go wrong, your life becomes less about living and more about waiting.

Waiting is a form of passive persistence.

So much of control is not authoritative action but mindful waiting.

These outlooks are significantly more my style.

Know what I'm gonna do today? I'm gonna start doodling giraffes on the walls of my Amazing Bob's study. That's his fav animal. Maybe a Seuss-ish one on the door to start.
