Some Comedy with Our Horror

I’m really gonna miss this guy.
…pity poor Anthony Scaramucci: reportedly getting divorced, sacked from his job after a mere 10 days — and now there’s an erroneous report that he’s dead. (ed. note: snicker, snicker)

The blink-and-you-missed-him former White House communications director is listed as deceased in the new Harvard Law School alumni directory, which arrived in alums’ mailboxes the very week that “The Mooch” became the most talked-about guy in politics. An asterisk by the 1989 graduate’s name indicates that he was reported dead since the last directory, which was published in 2011.

It’s unclear whether he was the victim of a prank — or just a typo. (source)
Hell, SNL didn’t even have time to hire Mario Cantone (who played him on Comedy Central) and now the Mooch is gone. *sigh* Comedians of the world should sue…or something.

While I was laughing my ass off over this Harvard educated (can ya believe it?!) dumbfuck’s hilariously coarse incompetence, financier and spectacularly knowledgeable dude, Bill Browder testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee investigating the Trump/Russian business.
“I hope that my story will help you understand the methods of Russian operatives in Washington and how they use U.S. enablers to achieve major foreign policy goals without disclosing those interests." (source)
You’ve just got to read this whole article – it includes the full text of his explosive testimony. Jesus, it reads like a John le CarrĂ© novel on steroids.

Essentially, Magnitsky, Browder’s Russian lawyer who was investigating seriously heinous shenanigans, stepped on the Big Bad, AKA Putin. During Magnitsky’s search and expose mission he uncovered a lot of mega crazy, GIANT greedhead, illegal shit. He was jailed and then very nastily offed for his efforts.
As I thought about it, the murder of Sergei Magnitsky was done to cover up the theft of $230 million from the Russian Treasury. I knew that the people who stole that money wouldn’t keep it in Russia. As easily as they stole the money, it could be stolen from them. These people keep their ill-gotten gains in the West, where property rights and rule of law exist. (source)
Gee, what was it that Trump’s ugly son said again? Lemme just think for one sec. Oh yeah:
“We don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.”

Can you say Trump's a Laundry? Sure ya can!

And what was it that the pretty Trump boy said he discussed in his meeting with Natasha…I mean Natalia Veselnitskaya. Oh yeah, they "primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children.”
A good rule of thumb: whenever you read that "adoption" has been discussed in any US-Russian bilateral meeting, what you're actually reading is a cynical quid pro quo on offer from Moscow for ending US sanctions on criminals. (source)

  1. Well, Scaramucci had a highly productive 11 days. He got rid of Spicer, Priebus, and his own wife. Not even Trump works so fast. And he set a standard of vulgarity that other Trump appointees will find hard to meet.

The irresistible force of new revelations on the Trump-Russia scandal continues to press against the immovable object of Republican reluctance to impeach. I suppose we'll reach the tipping point eventually. It should have been months ago.

    1. I feel like Trump'll manacled and perp walking before the Republicans will do a thing beyond voicing, gee-gosh, concerns.

As for the Mooch – he was some seriously scary entertainment.
