Here in Massachusetts there were 749 new cases yesterday alone. The state needs to shut down again but we have a Republican governor – that shit ain’t gonna happen.

Ten and I had planned to hit our local eyeglass joint today. I need prescription reading glasses instead of regular old cheaters but I’m not keen on being inside a store with potential Plague carriers. I’ll look online instead.

I’m supposed to begin outpatient PT (which happens at the Spaulding Rehab outlet at the local Y) but, again, I’m NOT down with being indoor with possible virus spreaders. I’ve done this PT shit twice already over the past two years so Jen will call and see if they’ll just email me illustrations of the exercises I need to do and how often. Ten, who is already overburdened with taking care of me, will do the lion’s share of PT supervision. Jen will help.

A dude I follow on Twitter noted that, during this time of quarantine, he’s lost 20 pounds and has been writing a sci-fi novel. I think I hate him. Me? I’ve gained 10 pounds, not been able to exercise regularly and done precious little drawing and painting. I did, however, have one Godzilla sized tumor removed from my brain as well as five (count ‘em, five) meningiomas removed from my spine.

That counts as being productive, don’t it?
