What's it all mean!!!

Why did the Unabomber, an Alex Jones-ish hermit with a violent streak and no radio show, make an appearance in Morpheus World last night.

Rolling Stone notes that while Ted Kaczynski was a deadly madman, he had some worries, some concerns that were NOT unfounded,
"Some believe he’s a murderous modern-day Henry David Thoreau, while others say he’s a genius and a prophet. So what, exactly did he get right?

Technology overtaking humanity was only one of the scary possibilities (which he posited). The rise of the “one percent” super rich and corporations controlling everything, was another. “Human freedom mostly will have vanished, because individuals and small groups will be impotent vis-a-vis large organizations armed with supertechnology and an arsenal of advanced psychological and biological tools for manipulating human beings, besides instruments of surveillance and physical coercion,” he wrote." My fave Morpheus
Latest example? The Russo/Republican Party's manipulation of the masses to elect the Crazy Con and all their other griftasauruses.

Ted was big on the eco-anarchist movement but was def NOT a fan of anything else on the Left. This included: “socialists, collectivists, ‘politically correct’ types, feminists, gay and disability activists, animal rights activists and the like.” So then, he had some good points but was a real human rights for me but not for thee type. I bet he really digs Aqua Buddha.

But wait, he also felt that “conservatives are fools,” and are “just taking the average man for a sucker, exploiting his resentment of Big Government to promote the power of Big Business.”

Can’t argue with that but yeah, while Dude’s wheels were spinning, his gerbil had gone on a permanent coffee break. Kaczynski’s now 76 years old and resides at the supermax in Florence, Colorado. I imagine he's happy there.

Fascinating article – well worth a read.

Last night’s big sleep show ended with a cameo by Jackie O. What the ever lovin’ fuck?

Ya know, she fell off the throne (the one I’d had for her in my mind) when she married Aristotle Onassis. Mind you, I was a ten year old Catholic school girl then. I believed in Camelot. While I didn’t really think she’d follow Guinevere’s lead and go off to join a convent, I guess I thought she’d be “faithful” to JFK for ever and ever. Did I mention? I was an idealistic kiddle with a wide streak of fairy tale romanticism.

Still, it’s only this morning, after her surprise dream appearance, that I employed my google-fu to find out why, oh WHY did she marry the vastly unlikely Ari.
"Then, on June 5, 1968,  just moments after winning the California primary, Bobby Kennedy was assassinated. Jackie was devastated – and terrified.
"I despise America,” a distraught Jackie told a friend. “If they are killing Kennedys, my children are the No. 1 targets. I want to get out of this country.”
She did, on October 20, when, in a small private ceremony, she wed Ari Onassis on the Greek isle of Skorpios. She was 39; he was 62." (source)
Oh. I understand now. Like totally.

I hate when I can’t remember my dreams? Why'd Ted and Jackie appear to me last night? What’s it all mean?
