This naturally puts Aladdin Sane in mind (specifically the title cut BUT the entire album is swoon inspiring). If you’ve NOT listened to it lately, do it. DO IT NOW! The jazz inflected piano intro alone (dunno if it’s on the YouTube clip) is astoundingly brill – mesmerizing. I’ve been deaf for 16 years now and I can still hear this in my head.

My pesky comorbidity (Nf2, thenkyewveddymuch) puts me down at the bottom of Phase 2. I’ll check in with my docs but, looking at the charts, I guess this means that I won’t get my dose before mid to late April. ’S OK – I’ve been inside so long now – I’m thinking I’d be a perfect candidate for long interstellar travel. The Dog Star (AKA Alpha Canis Majoris) is a mere 69 years away. Pfffbttt, after this year, I figure that’d be abso-easy.
