Lies My Cat Told Me

Stunning resemblance to Coco, no?
Jen just brought home a tremendously funny cat humor book. It’s hilarious if you’re a cat person and, as you well know, we are. The book:
Texts From Mittens: A Cat Who Has an Unlimited Data Plan...and Isn’t Afraid to Use It  by Angie Bailey
It’s a:

series of text message conversations between a snappy, self-absorbed housecat named Mittens and his long-suffering human, a single woman who works away from home during the day. Mittens relentlessly hassles his human all day long, while only taking breaks to watch Judge Judy, hang with his best friend Stumpy, complain about the antics of Drunk Patty the neighbor, ask Grandma for money to buy useless items from QVC, and harass the "filthy beast" dog, Phil.
While short, (I breezed through it in a day), it was well worth the investment. There were loads of lols (as the kids say...right?). Plus, I still managed to get all my PT exercises done! Laughs AND exercise—win/win, n'est-ce pas?

Also, I only mention it, the texts bear an incredible likeness to the ones Jen and I exchange on a daily basis. Apart from the moth business. I rarely go mano a moth while she's at work. Well, honestly? I try not to.

Also re:  Ms. Bailey, there’s bloggy goodness. Check it out, particularly this one Notes to Myself From Pre-Isolation Me. Some wise (and wise-ass) shit here

Today, I’ll dive into something more serious, Lies My Teacher Told Me by James Loewen who, very sadly, died this past month.

OK, in honor of cats, humor and life, here are some pics. Yur welcome.
