Here it is, a grey/blue cloudy Sunday morning—rain is on the set list for today—and I want nothing more than to escape the news.

The "right" wing has embraced fascism like it's the 1950s all over again.

Trump, the Republican frontrunner has spewed his way into Nazi-ville:

Trump told Yahoo News that he would consider requiring Muslim-Americans to register with a government database, or worse, mandating that they carry special identification cards that note their faith.

And then there's little-boy-asshole, Rubio:

In an interview with Megyn Kelly last night, Marco Rubio—who was ostensibly trying to shut down Trump’s call for a Fourth Reich—instead declared that, if we truly want to be safe, America needs to shut down pretty much everything.

 A mosque in Houston was set ablaze. The arsonist didn’t succeed in burning it all down but the building where religious books were stored is gone. Former firefighter, Dustin Herron, posted on his Facebook page “let it burn…block the fire hydrant.” Thus proving, once again, that so called Christians are every bit as guilty of insanity and terrorism as any other supposedly religious group.

AND, if that’s not all bad enough, the FDA has OKed genetically engineered salmon. I’ve been trying to get fish out of my diet for awhile now. I suppose this was the final push that I needed.

Once the salmon reach stores, consumers may not know they are eating them. Because there are no material differences between an engineered and a normal salmon, the FDA says the law does not require the fish to be labeled as engineered. AquaBounty says that genetically modified salmon have the same flavor, texture, color and odor as the conventional fish.

Christ on free range cod, it’s time to suit up and go for a long head-clearing ride.
