Dust Up in San Jose

Looks like there were big doings in San Jose yesterday.
Donald Trump held an unhinged rally in San Jose tonight. Clearly Hillary Clinton's harsh criticism of him earlier in the day unsettled him enough to really turn up the heat.

In addition to confusing his wife with his daughter, Trump staged his entrance to one of Adolf Hitler's favorite tunes, Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.
And there was backlash:
Several reports following Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s rally in San Jose, California on Thursday indicate that the Republican candidate’s supporters have been attacked by people opposing Trump.

ABC News reported that one woman was “taunted” and cornered before being pelted with eggs.

Buzzfeed noted that the woman “was flipping the bird and shaking her ass” at them.
John Podesta, Chairman of the 2016 Clinton’s campaign, tweeted this about all that:
Violence against supporters of any candidate has no place in this election.
Oh yeah, I SO agree. Defending yourself is one thing – a very big, important thing. Starting the firefight, however, is something entirely different. How are we, on the left, any different from these dimwitted, bullying bastards if we attack without real provocation, if we go all out egg throwing, righteous rage monster on a hair trigger? We’re supposed to be the party of adults. Let’s fucking act like it – ALL of us.

Having said this, I’m feeling a tiny bit schadenfreude-y. I do, however, wish it’d been the brain blendered, bigoted, knuckle dragging violence circus’ ringleader, Trump, who’d been cornered and egg pelted.

Also too, that’s a big waste of good food. Rotted vegetables would be a much better choice. Just FYI and shit.

Excerpts from the speech where Clinton really spelled things out big, bright and solid :
“Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different, they are dangerously incoherent. They’re not even really ideas, just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies.”

“He is not just unprepared; he is temperamentally unfit to hold an office that requires knowledge, stability and immense responsibility.”
“This is not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes because it’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because someone got under his very thin skin.”
One last great Clinton quote:
“This isn’t reality television. This is actual reality.”
