Bombs Away with Updatiness

But...but...flowers don’t have anything to to do with bombs?!
What? Yur gonna kvetch about pretty pics?
I just can’t be 24/7 total doom and destruction. Ya know?
No surprise here – the bomber asswipe's been caught and, YES, he's a rabid Trump cultist who was following his Dear Leader's orders.
Next to the pro-Trump stickers plastered all over the white van authorities say belongs to Cesar Sayoc are the names and photos of dozens of prominent Democrats and media figures — former president Barack Obama, Rep. Maxine Waters, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, former attorney general Eric Holder. There is also a sticker declaring: “CNN Sucks.” (source)
Of course Sayoc's hero came out with a melange of calls for unity, blaming the press (as uszh), claiming the victim mantle and NOT getting in contact with any of the bomb recipients. Different day/same bullshit narcissistic behavior.

Has Fox begun their he's mentally ill NOT a dangerous criminal and that means he's really a democrat shtick yet? It's only a matter of time, ya know.

Ten noted, in a post over at No More Mister Nice Blog, that this bomb shit’s straight up terrorism.
"Foremost let's call it what it is: terrorism. A specific population has been targeted and is being terrorized. The larger population terrorized by proxy."
Doesn’t make a damn bit of difference that none of 'em exploded, killing the targeted people. The would-be bomber created molto grande fear – terror. That was, perhaps, the whole point.

Recipients?
  • Hillary Clinton (EVERYone's fave target. Your oatmeal's mealy? LOCK HER UP!)
  • The Obamas
  • Joe Biden
  • Robert De Niro (a vocal critic of Cheeto Hitler)
  • CNN (their BIG crime? Not being slavering, Faux News style Trump lap dogs)
  • Former CIA Director John Brennan
  • Former Attorney General Eric Holder
  • Rep. Maxine Waters
  • Sen Dianne Feinstein
Of course, the bully brained, addlepated, I’M-THE-VICTIM-HERE dimwits of the right (which is now the ENTIRE Republican Party) responded with their usual false flag horseshit. Sure, all of us on the left ALWAYS try to blow ourselves up so’s y’all look bad. Of course! The entire Republican Party behaves like the classic toxic, abusive, violent husband. You MADE me hit you

Preznint Stupid's response to the attempted mass murder? Blame the media. Of course!

Gable1111, (also over at No More Mister Nice Blog) writes:
"I see this as part of an overarching strategy to introduce chaos, to generate a sense of hopelessness, and otherwise intimidate voters to suppress turnout on the left"
Jeff Ryan responded with shrewd trenchantcy:

"They say "false flag!" every time the sun rises. That in itself means nothing. To them it's like saying “hello.”"
As did Victor the Crab:
"When it's a bomb scare against the left, it's the left's fault for planting a false flag against the right.
When it's a bomb scare against the right, it's the left's fault for acting like terrorists against the right.
IOKIYAR. IACIYAD.
We're all living inside the right wing's bubble. And it's hell on earth."
Yes indeedy, it is. VOTE!!!!
A federal official tells CBS News "all arrows pointing to Florida" as investigators trace the source and suspect behind suspicious packages sent around the country. (source)
I know there are smart, sane, rational and wonderful people in Florida BUT the state does seem to have more than its fair share of crazoids. Must be the heat, huh?

  1. Florida?
It's a mix of crazy retirees from north of I-10 who can't drive, with a transient population of con artists, buying up bad land deals (Florida's "land boom" of the 1920s was one of the key factors in the Great Depression), moving in with redneck neighbors still pining for the 1850s, coping with toxic Red Tide waters, and fueled by a cocktail of good drugs and bad sex.
And that's just all in one retirement community called the Villages. I AM NOT JOKING, GOOGLE IT.
I have a thing where if there's a crazy story happening in Florida, I put down a dollar to bet the craziness is coming from Pasco County. I have a 50/50 shot of keeping my money. My other choice is betting on Dade/Broward. When I heard the FBI was focusing on Opa-Locka, I didn't even bother playing this game, it was too late to bet.
This is why I tell people that I may always be sober, I can never claim to be completely sane.

    1. So then, everything I read in Carl Hiaasen and Tim Dorsey novels is actually true? Not fiction but journalism?

      Sheesh!

Also, I'm gonna Google the Villages now, thanks!

    2. Hiaasen has stated in interviews that he just reads the news to get a lot of his plot lines
