Why are Liz Taylor’s eyes always described as violet? They’re a lovely shade of blue NOT violet, not periwinkle, not lavender. They’re BLUE.
Wabi-sabi

We are nice; but we're broken.

Uxorious
adjective
having or showing an excessive or submissive fondness for one's wife.
Is Justice Thomas the “brains” behind the batshit broad who’s trying to destroy our democracy, are they a co-equal team OR is he simply her uxorious tool?Derivative
adjective
(typically of an artist or work of art) imitative of the work of another person, and usually disapproved of for that reason.
All art is essentially derivative. Would we have Widespread Panic if The Grateful Dead hadn’t been there first? If not for Marty Robbins, The New Lost City Ramblers and Ken Kesey, would The Dead exist?Mark Twain said “it's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” TRUTH! This is why I don’t, in any way, expect the MAGAts amongst us will ever cop to the very solid reality that they’ve been hoodwinked, swindled and taken for a very long ride.
Every day, more damning reality comes into bright, shining spotlight. The con is further exposed.
Supporters were urged to donate to Trump’s “election defense fund” but the committee said it found no such committee or fund existed. Instead, much of the $250 million raised went to Trump’s new super PAC, called the Save America PAC, launched just the days after the election.
…Save America funneled millions of dollars of contributions to Trump-friendly organizations and entities. That included $1 million to the Conservative Partnership Institute, a charitable foundation closely linked to Trump’s last chief of staff, Mark Meadows; another $1 million to the America First Policy Institute, a closely-aligned advocacy group which employs several former Trump administration officials; more than $200,000 to the Trump Hotels chain; and more than $5 million to the events company that produced Trump’s Jan. 6 rally before the attack.
“The [fundraising] emails continued through Jan. 6, even as President Trump spoke on the Ellipse. Thirty minutes after the last fundraising email was sent, the Capitol was breached,” Amanda Wick, senior investigative counsel for the Jan. 6 committee, said in a video during the hearing. (source)
But the willfully blind and hateful will cling to the fraud they’ve signed up for because that’s all they’ve got. Their rich orange hero hates all the same people, he promised his them wealth, pardons and happiness and that all the brown people would bow down to them. If it was all a lie, and it was, they’ve got nothing left but their fears, rabid insecurities and dissatisfaction. Unfaceable!
Did you know? Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died on the very same day—June 25, 2009. She was 62—a year younger than I am now. Jackson was 50.
The Republi/Fascist Governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine, signed a bill into law yesterday, which allows teachers and other school employees, with just one day of gun training, to pack heat...IN SCHOOL. Gee, what could possibly go wrong? If I lived in Ohio and had children, they would be homeschooled. If I was a teacher? I’d quit.
Gun freaks and their NRA overlords are supremely banjax brained. You were well aware of that though.
The answer is never the answer, what's really interesting is the mystery.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't have to be great, sometimes it's just a notion.
It's all horse-shit ...
