What is this place we’re now in? Is this reality?

I mean, just look at yesterday.

Trump was looking up at Mamdani like he’s his new, most loved murderous dictator. Stinky’s certainly never looked at Melania or even Putin with that level of adoration. It was, perhaps, as though Zohran was his favorite son – the one he just doesn’t see anywhere near enough.

When a reporter asked Mamdani about having previously labeled Trump a “fascist,” Trump basically gave him permission to say such things. 

 “That’s ok. You can just say yes,” Trump said. “That’s easier. It’s easier than explaining.” 

Likewise, when it was noted that Mamdani had called Trump a despot, Trump volunteered: “I’ve been called much worse than a despot.”  (source) 

I’m betting Demento Don’s bio sons, Beavis, Butt-head, and the one who tortures small animals are all horribly jealous. Okay, probably not the small animal torturer – he’s too busy offing the neighbor's cat.

What’s with Trump’s about face? Wasn’t he, pre-election, calling Mamdani a “100% Communist Lunatic” and a jihadist? The Hill's Julia Manchester says that a source tells her that they ‘think this pours gasoline on the internal war within the Dems.’ How Machiavellian. I don’t think it makes sense to give sundowning Prez Shitzenpantz credit for the ability to intentionally perform political Jiu-Jitsu. 

Nope. Trump is just wildly impressed by people who are popular, charismatic, well liked, smart, well connected, and, seem to be all this effortlessly. Mamdani is all this. He glows. Reminds me of Obama.

AND yesterday Madge Greene announced that she’s quitting?

Seriously. She announced that she’s resigning from her bully pulpit. Her last day in office will be January 5, 2026. Maybe she needs more time to stalk and harass school shooting survivors. Or, as Jeff Tiedrich said, she’s is stepping down from Congress in order to spend more time with the barking noises inside her head.

Interesting. I wonder what the backstory on this is. I’m betting it’s some mix of having already made sufficient mountains ‘o’ insider-trading-cash, the gig’s getting to be too much damn work with too many headaches, she’s already got enough years in so all the cushy benefits have kicked in, and running for re-election wouldn’t be as much fun if she can’t be full blown feral Q MAGA anymore. 

I’ve seen more than a few people suggest that she’s planning to run for president. Maybe that’s what her recent shift away from her usual whackaloon racist theatrics, wild conspiracy theories, and cheerleading for the execution of Dem leaders such as Nancy Pelosi, former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, and FBI agents is all about. She’s trying to appear sane in order to broaden her appeal beyond the MAGA base.

I’ve got news for little Miss Crazy Pants, even the MAGAts aren’t gonna be 100% behind her.

On paper, Greene has a lot going for her as Trump’s heir apparent, and she likely will get checkbooks flinging open. But there’s one big, glaring reason she’s delusional if she really thinks she can secure the Republican nomination.

Yes, it’s the obvious one: She’s a woman. MAGA will never accept a woman as their leader.

Even the right’s mightiest powers of denial can’t hide that a woman who wants the Oval Office is ambitious, an unacceptable quality for a proper MAGA lady. Greene has a lot of qualities Republican voters apparently like. She’s entitled and loud, and she can be mean. But that’s what they want from men. They still think it’s unseemly in a woman. Honestly, ol’ dead Charlie Manson has a better chance of winning the Republican nomination for prez than a woman – even one as batshit looney toons as Madge.

I wonder if she’ll find time to read the Epstein victim names into the public record before she goes. I mean, she’s ALL about grabbing the spotlight and naming big names. Exposing the major pedos on record would certainly earn her ALL the attention.

THAT’S a bomb I’d love to see drop.
